How does ImpleTax® support a DevOps Culture?

ImpleTax® was built on a DevOps basis, but only by accident. Back in 2009, when the idea of DevOps was just starting to spread, our team was onsite at a major Oil and Gas client delivering on the biggest global SAP tax automation implementation of its kind. The players involved included:
In order to manage the complexity of the implementation and the global team structure, we built ImpleTax®, which at the time wasn't 'ImpleTax' at all. It was merely a methodology that helped us deliver on the biggest indirect tax implementation of its kind.
Soon, everyone on the team was using the tool and long after this project, we noticed our tool being used on a VAT automation project at a well-known British automotive client.
ImpleTax®, even in its infancy, was not simply supporting a DevOps culture - it was creating it.
